Performing an engine swap on my 2015 Jeep Compass and this was one of the items I thought would be important to change. This went in just like the original and keeps the battery charged, even with the new stereo and amps. Great price and does even more than it should, great product, thanks!

Direct fit however post was half the size. Nut was halfway on when torqued down. We'll see if it stays. I'll update review.

My alternator was making some crazy noises on my Jeep Patriot. I definitely needed a replacement. Purchased this one my mechanic threw it in and everything is working just fine, perfect fit and car running smooth again.Update: changed my review to one star. This alternator started burning up few days ago. Didn't last more than 5 months. Bought a better alternator, when my mechanic pulled this one out the coils were all black. I know you might be trying to save a buck like I was. But def spend the extra money for better quality product.

The seller's picture made me worried about a little bit cos it looks different from the old alternator to be replaced. But as pictures I uploaded they are actually same in any direction.So don't worry.
