I wish I had found these years ago, so easy to use and they keep the tails of my thread spools contained and neat on the wooden spool display rack. I'm just now in the process of putting these on the spools and it looks better already. I often grab a spool and tail threads come with it leaving a mess. I do wish they came in clear to see the thread colors better but I'm not willing to spend twice as much for half as many.

I have a lot of thread which I store in a box to keep the dust off. I hadn't realized there was a notion that would untangle the mess that I'd find whenever I wanted some thread. These little commando bracelets go onto the thread spool and keep that thread in place. I was going to give 4 stars because, depending on the size of your spool, the spool huggers were difficult to put on' however, after the first use, the hugger loosens up a little and makes it easier to put on. I can't say enough good things about these spool huggers. I no longer lose yards of thread by detangling, because the huggers keep all of the thread spools tidy.

The clip that holds the loose end of the thread tightly on the bobbin works great! No more tangled bobbin threads!The part that fits on the end of the thread spool aren’t as handy. They do hold the bobbin and spool together but must be completely removed before putting the spool on the sewing machine.Nice for storage but additional step before sewing begins.

I have already used 200 of these on my thread cones. They are snug and prevent thread from coming unwound. I love the happy colors too.

I've sewn and quilted all my life. These are a modern take on spool thread holders so you can secure those random threads that unwind off spools. Nothing worse than a thread nest of unwound spools in the thread drawer!. I like these and use them with rasant thread mainly. You pry the thread wraps or peels open and wrap them around your thread. They are flexible and would fit small or medium size spools, not super large cones. They work and the thread doesn't unwind.

This product entirely does what was claimed for it - it stops the spool of thread from unwinding. When one has a lot of spools because of machine embroidery, this is wonderful. I use spools that are 1000m and this product fits just fine. Someone with dexterity issues might have an problem to begin with, but this is the only knock on the product. So, generally speaking it's easy on and easy off.

Love this product I no longer have to stick the thread ends to the reel of thread with sticky tape. I no longer have to worry about the build up of sticky residue on my reels of threads. It is a great product. I purchased more so I have enough for all the reels of thread I have. I would love some of these for my large cones of thread 5.000meter cones.
