Heavy duty wiring and cover. On my truck the socket was not as tight as I would have expected. Other than that the connector is good.

New gen Honda goldwings (2018+) use a 5 wire system for brake, turn, stop and tail lights. I installed this device on my 4 wire tow behind trailer and wired it into the 6 pin connector on the Goldwing. I works perfectly. We will see how long it lasts.

This is definitely the way to wire the Tailgate LED Strip’s 4 pin flat connector to a F-150 with separate turn and brake lights. The connections are made right behind the tail lights and not at any existing trailer wiring from the factory towing setup. That eliminates any error messages on the dashboard related to having a problem with trailer lights… that is because you do not really have a trailer being towed. Easy 15 minute installation !
