I’ve been using the Nicpro 0.9 Mechanical Pencil Set for a bit now and so far I really like it. The design is sleek, and the pencil feels sturdy in my hand without being too heavy, which makes it comfortable for long writing, or homework sessions.The lead it comes with is okay—it gets the job done for schoolwork, but I do wish it was a bit darker. If you prefer bolder writing or sketching, you might want to grab some darker replacement lead. As for the erasers, they’re average. They work fine but don’t expect them to last too long or completely erase without a trace.For the price, though, this set is a great deal. It’s reliable and looks great, so I’d recommend it to anyone who needs a mechanical pencil for everyday use. On a side note, the pencil doesn't show fingerprints as I suspected it might, which is great.

I’m very happy with this set. The pencils are great. They feel high quality and they work great. The eraser is a little prone to pop out of the end of the pencils perhaps. That would be my only criticism. Overall great quality and value, do recommend!

This pencil has weight. It's like holding a dart. So breathe in and write for your bull's eye.I got the black ones, and I'm glad it also has a black eraser and back-up black erasers. It's a quality set overall, especially for the price.Get these instead of the cheap plastic ones. You'll notice quite the difference, and they feel so much better in the finger's grasp and seemingly write better, too. The weight is magical.It's a baton of lead-filled magic.

These feel great in your hands and give elusiveness to long term use. Unfortunately, if dropped once, they stop working. Also after minimal use over a few months, they stop working as well. I am saddened and am on my last pencil and now have to find a replacement that’s actually going to feel good and last. I haven’t even been through 1 eraser or container of lead.

I have been using this pencils for only three weeks, so I don’t know much the durability yet. I really like the weight and the feel of the pencil. The lead seems to be strong, it has only broke on me once. The erasability is very good. A lot of time with the erasers on these pencils, they smear more than erase. I’m happy so far and would recommend them.

This is one fantastic pencil set, I am impressed with the quality for this price.You get 3 pencils and an abundance of spare leads of different sizes and hardness and erasers. The pencils have a ring on that you can rotate that denotes what hardness of lead you have in them. These do not auto retract like some I have, but one alone was the cost of this set and it's just a matter of depressing the top and manually pushing the lead back in to protect it.I use these pencils for marking out wood and also sketching ideas and have been great, they have a nice weight and feel lovely in the hand. They do come in a pretty unwieldy box though so I have just transferred the pencils and 3 boxes of leads to a smaller pencil case that I can carry around.In conclusion, a great pencil set for a great price, I am very impressed with this set and can recommend it.

Overall the pencil is awesome, its heavy in the hand and writes very well and has a very premium build quality except for the erasers. The erasers themselves are fine but within 3 weeks I've lost half of the replacement ones because they fall off of the pencil so easily. A buddy of mine bought the same ones and has the same problem.

I'm really impressed with this set. In the past I've found sets like this to be a little on the cheap and nasty side but these pencils are of a very good quality.They have hexagonal bodies, which makes them easy to grip, and also have a knurled lower gripping section for close control. I like the adjustable part at the top which allows for the display of the hardness of the lead inside the pencil, which can be adjusted to shoe 4H, 2H, HB, 2B & 4B. They each have a small eraser in the top which I found to be a nice soft type that doesn't cause any damage to the paper surface.Where these pencils really excel for me is in the weight distribution. They are front heavy which allows for a great variety of character in line and shading when the pencil is held in an overhand grip or held with a longer grip. The set also comes supplied with replacement leads, which cover the range of widths of the pencils, but these are limited to HB and 2B. For me it would be nicer to have a range that include 4B leads but the lead widths are fairly easily available from art suppliers.The set is rounded off with a column of replacement eraser tips as well as three soft plastic type erasers. The whole lot is very well presented in a flat case which is great for studio or desktop use.Highly recommended.
