I gotMorepack 240 Pieces Lead Refills with Plastic Box,0.7 mm HB,Break Resistant Mechanical Pencil Refills, they break very easy and and writing is very light and are smaller than I though. I am tryingJune Gold 1320 Pieces, 0.7 mm HB #2 Lead Refills, they seem thicker so we will have to see cause I just got them

There isn’t much lead in the pencil. They break regularly. My son went through 3 at school and I went through 2 at home just taking notes.

1. We tested all the 210 pencils in this set. The clutch mechanism works perfectly and robustly in all 210 pencils.2. Kids keep losing and breaking pencils in school quite frequently. So, we wanted something that was sturdy and cheap. These pencils fit that bill on both counts.For the robust clutch mechanism, sturdiness of the barrel and the low price of the product, I give full 5 stars.3. There were 1-2 leads per pencil and they were surprisingly dark and non-scratchy. We already had leads from previous purchases, so, this didn't matter much to us.4. The erasers were surprisingly soft and erased well. Since, we did not buy the pencils for good erasers, this point also didn't matter much to us.5. The box is sturdy, but, despite that, something heavy must have fallen on it to make a dent in it. Some leads were broken in about 5-10 pencils. This can be a problem if you are front-feeding a new lead into the pencil. Make sure to remove all of the previous lead before front-feeding a new lead into the pencil. We don't do back-feeding of the lead into the pencil.
