This thing is fantastic. The design is very sleek and the pump itself is extremely quiet and still puts out a decent amount of air. I'm currently using it as a lift for my breeder box and the flow is perfect for it. The size and design is unobtrusive so you can easily put it out of the way. Uses very little power which is an added plus. I will likely purchase a second one for an air stone to put inside the breeder box.One thing to note, the air output is low (expected and as described on product page) so you would not want to use a long tube and using a check valve does restrict it a bit more. I noticed the air lift on the breeder box worked better without the check valve. If that's not an issue for your application, I would still recommend using one.Overall, great value and excellent product.

Only ment for small tanks, but works great, silent and for the size powerful, I'd go no bigger that a 5 gallon tank.

So quiet you can't even tell this thing is on. But it outputs moderate air flow. Doesn't make the water bubble like the loud air-pumps I own do. I got this for a DWC rez tank but I'm unsure if its sufficient for what I bought it for. . Maybe better for a small fisktank? Or maybe my huge airstone is to big for it and I need to use the smaller air stone that was included instead. I give this a 4.5 star for how amazingly quiet it is.

Nice and quiet. Makes a lot of bubbles, more than the 20 gallon recommended in the write up. Get a little plastic valve to control the air.Only downside is the little suction cup is only so so and doesn’t hold real well.

It’s quiet and well built. Don’t bother using the check valve, it doesn’t work very well. Personally I connected the pump to an air flow control valve and a sponge filter.

In theory, this is a nice little air pump. It does produce good volume for the stone provided. Nice to have the complete kit. Over the course of about 5-7 days the pump goes from silent operation to emitting a high frequency buzz that is too much for sensitive ears to handle. The suction cup allows the pump to attach to the outside side of the aquarium so the fish have to be subjected to the same irritating frequency which is probably stressful. It appears that when given a few days unplugged, the pump “resets†and can be plugged in without the frequency starting, but with time, the buzzing will start again. 3 stars because it does work, it’s nice to have the full kit, but the buzzing is too much to make this a long-term use product in an aquarium. Probably better for temporary setups needing aeration.

It is soooo quiet.Powerful output to one large air stone.It’s perfect! So good in fact this is my 2nd unit for another setup I am building.

Quiet enough, seems to work well for the small airstone, will see how it does with a different style as I think my tank could use a little bigger stone. Definitely a white noise to it, but the tank is in my sons room and it doesn’t seem to be too loud for him, never keeps him awake or anything like that.
