The trailer pigtail is very well built and sturdy. Fit is great and seems to have good closing mechanisms. Used for toad connection to RV and transmitter for wireless signal/brake lights

When mine arrived it looked to be good quality and nicely flexible. Unfortunately the one that was shipped to me arrived broken. It looked like someone over tightened the set screw and it cracked a plastic ring around the connector. The return was seamless and my purchase price was refunded immediately. I would have exchanged but I needed the cable for a weekend trip so had to go make my own with parts from a local RV store - that cost me about $20 more than this cord cost but had to do it. I would purchase this again if I needed another...

The first one that was sent was wired incorrectly. A replacement was sent right away and it worked perfectly.

I used this 7 pin extension to hook up my travel trailer to my tow vehicle (Toyota). The connectors are not correct such that the trailer signals did not match the vehicles controls. Most concerning was the brakes did not work and a “short circuit†code flashed on my brake controller and my trailer brakes locked up.Thankfully I tested the trailer and brakes before getting on the highway.I took the extension plug to a reputable local trailer shop where we tested my tow vehicle…all tested fine. We then added the extension plug and they confirmed with their tester that the plug was completely mis-wired.I bought a new extension cord from the hitch shop and the trailer connections and breaking work 100%.Don’t buy cheap junk from Amazon. Lesson learned. Product is being returned.
