Ninja has a reputation for producing great products for the home. Thus, I was looking forward to getting and using this blender.I love a smoothie. I have tried other blenders especially since for health purposes my provider has recommended 1-2 smoothies a day.First, it needs to be charged. The charger is packed inside the blender itself. Plug it in to charge before use. It does take a long time. Don't plan to use that day.The instructions are easy to read and follow. There is a little recipe booklet included along with a guide for what to add and the order to add the items. There is a good explanation about errors that can occur with the blender and how to correct them.The container itself has the markings for what you add - 6 ounces minimum of liquid. It has a max fill line.It comes with good instructions and a great guide for making your smoothies: liquid, fresh fruits, leafy greens, sticky stuff, and frozen fruits/ice. You are cautioned if you add more frozen fruits you may need to add more fluid.I added an 8 ounce protein supplement shake, a banana and a cup of frozen strawberries.It was so easy to use. Power on. When the white lights were on, pressed the smoothie button and let it do its thing. It will power on and off for a minute or more. Remove the vessel from the motor, push the button on the lid and drink. The texture was just right.You have the option of taking just the vessel or taking both the vessel and motor (for remixing later).I only have 1 complaint and it isn't worth subtracting a 1 star. It is an irritation though. It should have a standard USB-C charger instead of the one it has that is a dedicated charger.I do recommend the mixer because of the power, versatility, and ease of use. Great for smoothies, milkshakes and more. We made daiquiris and they turned out perfect.

Bought as a gift for a very fickle husband who was drinking protein shakes as part of his marathon training. He'd been using the metal spirals in a shaker cup and drinking lumpy, powdery shakes, not enjoyable. We have a Ninja Twisti, but he felt using that and the clean up was too much effort in the morning. He also hates accumulating gadgets, so this felt a risky purchase. Thankfully after a week of use, he was thrilled with it, his drinks taste great though he is still finding the powder gets stuck to the sides and ingredients have to be added in a specific order to reduce that.He started drinking twice as many protein shakes, and, in between, having iced drinks in it. He was quite frustrated that it doesn't charge itself (!), but he gets a around a week's worth of daily drinks between charges (and now remembers to charge it!). It's easy to clean and compact. I did think he would take it to work to have his drinks there, but he says it's too noisy to use in the office and it doesn't have anywhere to store powder like the plastic cups do.Now his training has stopped, he's not using it so much, but I think it's only a matter of time before our teenager purloins it for their milkshakes and cocoas... Ninja is a very reliable brand, this is my third Ninja product (Twist, airfryer) and I continue to recommend them.

Pros: Easy to use, great larger size, removable battery base, holds a charge for quite a while.Cons: Uses a special 11.1V 5.25mm x 2.5mm charger (so you may have to drag that with you) rather than a universal USB C charger. It died on me half-way through my last trip so it was useless.Overall a great cordless blender with plenty of crushing power.

I loooove my blender. It's light,compact, and easy to wash. It feels durable too. It crushes ice with ease and my smoothie took seconds. Best part is popping off the lid abd drinking it right away. Cordless is an awesome feature, so I can blend anywhere when I'm on the go.Functional and great value. Battery lasts quite awhile, charging it is very easy too. Yes you can detach it and wash it fully sumerged in water of you like, or just add a bit of soap and blend... super fast cleaning up.

This blender is incredible and the best for on the go. No need to double wash dishes or transfer any liquid. It’s given me so many more food outlets and has helped with weight gain/calories

I decided to buy the larger blast because sometimes just bit more of a drink is better, saves me making the whole thing over again, even though the smaller one is great for things, I was bit dubious buying the product with the USA plug, just plugged it into the adapter and away it charged, Yes I’m very happy with both products from Amazon, smoothies are nice and thick, 8oz light milk, 1 banana, desert spoon of peanut butter, some times bit of ice, and of course the protein very nice after the gym, will try the other recipes as I progress
