Nordic Pure MERV 12 Pleated AC Furnace Air Filters provide exceptional filtration for both home and commercial environments. MERV 12 furnace filters are comparable to HVAC filters with the rating of MPR 1500-1900. Nordic Pure furnace air filters are manufactured using a heavy duty, moisture resistant beverage board frame. As with all Nordic Pure furnace air filters, the material is electrostatically charged to attract unwanted particles. The media used will not promote the growth of bacteria or mold on the air filter. For fresh, clean air in your home and office, it is important to regularly change your AC filter, especially during home improvements. We recommend changing your HVAC furnace filter every 1-3 months, depending on your unique home or office environment. People with pets or those who suffer from allergies should change their A/C air filters more often. Replacing your air filter regularly not only improves indoor air quality, it helps your HVAC unit perform more efficiently. Important Note: Almost all air condition filters have a different Actual Size than Nominal Size printed on the air conditioning filter. A MERV 12 Nordic Pure air filter captures airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns! at a very fair price. I recently bought these because other NAME BRAND filters are up 50-75% in price over the last 3 1/2 years, like almost everything else more expensive by at least 25-50%. Wonder why? JK, the answer is obvious.

Does Carbon make a difference? I'm not sure. First time buying Carbon filters and to be fair I can't tell a difference. Had been using a higher MERV rated filter and still having the same amount of dust and scents in the house. Vents and ducts were cleaned just before buying the house and would have thought these would have help reduce some of the dust, especially in the winter when things are buttoned up. Easy to install and fit runs true.

I've been using these filters for the past 3 years and they are the best vaue for the money. Excellent quality and never had any issues with them. The company also offers charcoal filters (which I bought in the past) but honestly these are perfect and no need to spend 3x amount for charcoal. Also there is no need to go higher than MERV 12 for residential units.Nordic Pure is a small business and their products are made in USA.

I find Merv 8 or 10 to be about perfect. A/C repair guy told me the less Merv rating the more porous and better for your a/c longevity. Of course, less filtering then. I have mild asthma so went with Merv 10. They say the high Merv filters are “a/c killersâ€. Especially if you leave them in 3 months and are clogged with stuff; even worse. Plus their prices are sky high. This product is a good balance and a good price. I replace every 2 months or so here in dusty Arizona.

Great quality and huge value over the box store filters. The orange and blue hardware stores sell this quality filter for $25+ for just 1. Have been using these for 1 year + and never had an issue. Keeps my hvac in great shape and pollens and dust out of the air.

I ordered or these to make a box that I could put a fan on top to re-circulate the air in my house. They do a great job of cleaning the air. I’ve had mine for almost 6 months, so not bad for the price a lot cheaper than buying a air filter machine good product fair price.

I made this myself I taped four of the filters together and just placed a fan on top of it. The filters themselves work really good for getting out stale air. My roommate does not smoke and I do but this cleans up the air great easy to make and the filters work great best value I found on these filters how long they last I hope to get six months, so will let you know then.

This filter has the highest MERV rating possibleAnd it does exactly that; it filters out everything.I live in an area that got hit by substantial forest fires, these filters filtered out all the smokeAt times that I couldn’t see the other side of our street.Mind you with that amount of particles , the live of this filter was two weeks, but comfortable two weeks.Pollen in spring are also no issue for this filter.
