I needed a circle cutter that wasn't too expensive and that would cut through chipboard stock. I tried the Fiskar's Circle Cutter, but it only works with thinner paper (like scrapbook paper found in craft stores). I found this one and a few others that were more expensive, but I after watching their video online, it seemed this would work. It comes with two blades which are secured in a small storage area. I was able to CLEANLY cut 2-1/2 inch circles for my project. The process DOES leave an indentation in the cutouts, but I wasn't going to use those so it didn't matter for my project. If you need CLEAN circles cut in medium weight art board ( or thinner material) this is the tool you should use. Highly recommended!

It comes as advertised, WITH two *single-edged* blades as described. The blades are tucked into a little compartment in the side of the tool (tool is red, compartment is a translucent white - can't miss it). I cut five 4" holes in several pieces of drywall without any problem (first few were practice on a piece of scrap, so I could figure out the best technique). Works best if the drywall is not yet mounted to the wall so you can get to both sides and just cut through the cardboard, scoring the gypsum.Though most of the writing on the package is in Japanese (it is made in Japan, not China), there are English translations on it as well. With a little thought and clues from the packaging, one should have no problem using this. Certainly a whole lot less expensive than a 4" hole saw!

Durable and solid to hold; the only disappointment is that it did not come with a doble sided blade, but does have a nifty blade holer that had two single sided blades.I have cut pvc board with ease and precision after a bit of practice to understand all the forces at play and how to make a jig to hold the material to be cut. Also worked excellent on Ag fabric / weed shield, denim, and paper. - each again needing a bit of practice before getting consistant results.

I bought this to cut wheels out of cardboard for a car craft. When I first opened the packaging I panicked that there were no blades with it. However, they are included and were hiding inside the wheel behind the little white door. I actually appreciate this feature because you don’t have to have the blade exposed at all times. For cutting cardboard, this little beauty did great! You have to really use the stabilizing spike, which leaves a good sized hole in the circle, however, the hole was the perfect size to fit in the axil I needed for the cars. Whenever I experienced slipping it was either because the spike wasn’t extended far enough and the device moved or I hadn’t tightened the arm and/or blade enough. You really need to use a screwdriver to secure the blade properly. The only other problem I experienced was a bunching of the corrugation inside the cardboard. There’s really nothing you can do about this, since it’s all about the structure of the cardboard. However, you can feel the bunching occur and avoid a circle-cutting disaster by changing the direction you’re turning or flipping the cardboard over (the hole left by the stabilizing spike helps to line things up perfectly!

Solid tool, no blades were included even though the box said they were. Will update review after I use it.

The instructions are mostly in Japanese. The blade depth is at most only 5 mm, which was not entirely clear in the product description. The tool itself is clunky to use. Returning it and getting something more versatile

This cutter works really well. Used to cut corrugated cardboard, and it cut the cardboard like it was butter.Made of solid metal with a substantial blade. Loved it. 😀 😃 🙂Only 2 minor dislikes. The adjusting knob is a little difficult for my arthritic fingers (though I don't see that that is fixable). And the blade stuck out so far under the cutter that it cut two layers of corrugated cardboard. Great for getting 60 circles cut twice as fast. 😉 Just be prepared with something under it.

Very much unsatisfied. It came very late. There is not a single blade attached to it. So it can't any use. wastage of time and money.

Works quite well for making rubber gaskets. It takes a bit of practice to get the blade and center point depth right for smooth circular cuts.
