Using to strain milk kefir grains. These are sturdy and well made strainers. They are a bit too large to set firmly into a wide mouth mason jar, but work well on some bowls and glass measuring cups.

This works fine but it does not fit a wide mouth mason jar. In order to use it without spilling all over your counter, you have to put a canning funnel on top of the jar and hook it to that.

This product was misrepreseted as being double ear fine mesh.The lower one in my photo is true double ear fine mesh.The one at the top is a standard strainer mesh.Waste of money and strainer cannot be used for straining Kefir water. The baby grains get washed away.
