Edit: Worked fine for 2 months, then failed. Now Im in the same boat as I was with my old fan clutch.... truck doesnt overheat, but not enough air to keep condenser cool causing too high of head pressures on the high side, and A/C air temp to rise. Sometimes you get what you pay for.... this is one of those times i tried to save money, and it will end up costing me more in the long run. Off to NAPA for a GOOD quality fan clutch, with a warranty that they will stand behind.Like others, my Cummins wasnt overheating. But at idle, the clutch wasnt locking up enough, and the pressures were too high on my A/C system due to lack of air across the condenser. BIG difference, and pressures are where they are supposed to be. My only question on the clutch.... is longevity.

Great product however they will not cover a manufactor defect in desighn so its YOUR job to correct the flaw they outline with wire being ripped off by fan engagement. Sad they make it your fault if not installed correctly but your were warned if you reas the description. So what I found to work was a stiff piece of rod. I took a piece of 3/32 stainless welding rod cut to about a foot to stiffen the unsupported wire so it will not suck into fan when rpm increase... worked like a charm... I did however drive it once with no issues unsupported but would not suggest doing so becuase it doesnt take much effort to make the wire touch fan with a finger unsupported... the welding rod worked great.

Part came on time but there are no wiring diagrams, so my tech had to mess with wires sometimes the truck wouldn't crank because of wires and when we got that figured out the clutch is still not working properly. I am tired of getting junk parts from Amazon. I like ordering off here but the parts are starting to be trash!!! This is the 5th time I've gotten something that doesn't work and left stranded, had pissed off customers because I order parts here and they fail.... getting very old!!! I want a refund!
