I bought the “Like New†option, (because I’m frugal) and it definitely is a far cry from the “new†category. It arrived absolutely filthy, and missing 2 of the 4 mounting studs. A radiator fan clutch rotates at very high speeds, so having all 4 is critical. With that being said, overall it works. I transferred 2 mounting studs from the clutch I removed and it’s not a part of the car that needs to be shiny and perfect looking. The seller should have advertised as “used†not “like new†and I would have given 4 out of 5 stars. Only because there really is no excuse to send someone a filthy product, other than laziness. At least blast it with an air compressor to blow off the loose dirt…

I did not remove any other items or even de-tension the belts to take off the old clutch and install this new one. Instantly my A/C is back to working as it used to.

Good fit and easy to install on a 1996 Isuzu trooper. Transferred the fan from the old clutch and fit was perfect

I've been running this clutch on my 2004 Tacoma with the 3.4L 5VZ-FE V6, it's driven about 12k miles since installing it and I've had no issues with overheating, coolant temps stay solid once warmed up. It fit just fine like the original. But the issue is it stays fully engaged on cold starts until the engine is mostly warmed up. It's driven by the motor so it's speed varies with the rpm and blasts air until its warm and then goes back to normal. It sounds like a jet engine and can get kinda scary if I have to pull out onto a highway. It sounds like the fan blades could break off.But after about 5 mins it goes away and all is well. At first I thought it might have to break in, but its been 6 months of driving it almost everyday. Again, there's been no issues besides it being annoying. I'll probably replace it soon to see if I got a defective unit
