Works when installed. Time will tell how long it will last. I replaced it along with the electrical aux cooling fan, radiator hoses and water pump on the wifes e53 x5. It was easy to replace as I already had the correct tools so for the price and since I had to take it off for the water pump replacement it's a nobrainer.

obviously a centrifugal fan clutch and NOT THERMOSTATIC. It works fine, but my car sounds like a "Turbo Prop" planewhen i gas it.It was cheap, and looks like a decent part, just kinda loud compared to the OEM one.

It does it's job, but it is also a bit noisy. For whatever reason when the engine is first started (even when the engine is warm) it causes a lot of fan noise from the engine compartment. It also occasionally makes the same noise when starting from a stop light. The car didn't do this with the old fan clutch -- we've had the car since almost new. Had I known I would have spent the extra $$ on a better quality replacement, but it is not so annoying that I am willing to tear it all apart to replace it again.

So far so good. Always a risk to go with a lower cost non-OEM part from China form y BMW. The reason I did was for cost and shipping. Needed a fast repair before heading on a long road trip. So far this part is performing well after a long winter road trip. Unfortunately the overnight shipping that was promised did not come through. Had to wait over a weekend which really made things tight. This is why it gets only three stars from me.

My clutch fan was broken so it sounded like a pop can rattling around in my engine bay. Quick switch on the fan blades and this bolted right on. She sounds great again

Nicely made clutch, fits and works well although the fan is very noisy now. Not sure if it’s the new clutch or whether I haven’t bled the system properly yet.Overall very happy with this part.
