It's to deep making the mounting nut hard to get off, I had to make a custom wrench to get the nut off. Otherwise it works good.

Worked very well cutting and slicing the protruding roots in a downward angle , then turned the grinder / blade horizontal and cut through the sectioned "squares" from my vertical cuts. The blade has grinding nubs on the bottom that work well for a while. The then gum up / glaze up - likely from the moisture in the root you are grinding. It will not clean with wire brush and had to use a small flat head screwdriver to dig off the glazed area. Would likely not have this problem on dry wood?? LASTLY, use a good a pair of welding gloves, safety goggles / glasses, heavy duty clothing and even chainsaw chaps if you are using grinder kneeling or bending over to use the tool. This is a serious cutting tool and be prepared to hold on firmly -- Practice on something first to understand the best way to cut and prevent potential grip-loss, kickback and loss of control..

I am building a cordwood cabin in northern Maine. I have some thirty or more round-timber posts and beams that have to be debarked. Spruce and fir. The spruce is a migraine to debark. Well, this rasp disc has been a godsend. In fact, I do not know what I would have done with the spruce logs if I did not have this disc. I was busting my butt with a drawknife and it was turning out like crap. My power washer (2500psi) did nothing with the spruce bark. I was almost thinking that only a hammer and chisel would save my butt. The disc is a pleasure to use. I have been debarking for a week or so until the disc arrived today and I have a smile on my face for maybe the first time since I started the debarking. I would give the designer of this disc a prize, even a Nobel prize, because it saves one's sanity. Also, even though my cordwood logs are cedar and they practically debark themselves, sometimes you come across a cedar with its bark really stuck on. This disc will get it started and then you just finish debarking the cedar by hand. I am sixty-eight years old, folks. I rarely ever write a review, but this product is that good. If you have a cordwood house to build, this disc is your best worker on the job. Even though it is for the common smallish angle grinder, it gets the job done. A large round timber spruce post, twenty feet long, took me less than an hour -and it only took that long because I was really overdoing it pretty. Thank you to the company that sells this item. Thank you very much, indeed.

I purchased this inexpensive blade to grind off small stumps left from removing some overgrown shrubs.I was actually surprised how well this worked on small stumps protruding out of the ground. It also ground some stumps 6 in across, of course it was a slow process, but it definitely flattened them out. One needs to be careful to maintain a firm two-handed grip on the grinder if the edge saw blade is used, it can kick back quite easily. The blade serves a purpose, but just be aware. For small projects I can recommend it.

Easily chews through a tough railroad timber. Be careful to watch your digits!

Easy to mount. Took a little time to get the feel for what I was doing, and the disk worked well. I would recommend this product.

This thing will never replace a real Stump Grinder but it is great to remove smaller stubs and stumps.

We had a beautiful big old maple in our backyard, but the wind split the trunk, and we had to have it removed. Turns out there are roots everywhere. I've added this to my angle grinder and I use it to cut the roots out where they are in the way. Definitely chews up the wood, but watch out for kickbacks!

The disc works very well but be careful extremely careful because it tends to bite and fling away. Always use two hands for reason above. It can also take big chunks out of your work. I tried using the outside edge as a saw but that was not the best Idea, not really meant to cut like a saw. All in all it did the job I needed it for.

Had a 2x4 wall stud that dried like a corkscrew and protruded too much for drywall application. Bought this disk and it is agressive but not too much. In a few minutes the offending stud was flattened flush with other studs. But be carefull. Wear all the PPE you have. It is very dusty! And messy. But got the job done.
