If you're reading this, its because you have either confirmed or suspect a bad PIP sensor on your Ford. Where I am, a new distributor at the red or green stores will cost you around 130$ for this exact same one. The red store will list it as a BDLG-FD16, the green store shows it as a DST2890, the same part number engraved on this distributor, from Amazon, for 60$. Might as well buy 2 and keep one behind the seat at that price, this is parts store quality after all.Also yes, this version has the STEEL gear, NOT CAST IRON.

I couldn’t find tdc on my truck for the life of me, I took it to a shop ! Of course he was doubtful of the $ I saved. It’s running good.The cap n rotor at an auto parts store cost more that distributor it’s self! It’s all one price, I look for best deal.
