Dropped it three times so far with no cracks! Good instructions too

So I dropped my iPhone 13 without the case on and I shattered the back of it, so I called several phone reaper companies including apple and it was going to cost in between 200$ and 350$ to replace the back glass, outrageous! So I decided to bite the bullet and fix it myself. I bought this product and it came within 3 days. It also came with a lot of very helpful tools. But be aware that apple uses a very strong adhesive to fuse the glass to the back of the phone so I used a heat gun to soften the old adhesive and it worked very well, and once you get the old glass of make sure to remove the old adhesive residue with rubbing alcohol. And I used a center punch to break up the thicker glass around the camera. Once all the old glass and adhesive is removed All you have to do is peel off the sticker on the back of the new glass and make sure the camera holes, flashlight, and back microphone are all aligned, and firmly press down and wait a little while for the adhesive to stick. Instead of using the included rubber bands, I would recommend putting something that weighs a couple pounds on top of the phone for a little while. Overall the whole process took about 2 1/2 hours. The only complaint that I have is that one of the cameras sits a little deeper than the other one, but that is just me being nitpicky. Overall a great product and saved me several hundred dollars, if you have the time and patience I would recommend doing this yourself.

Broke the first day I had it. Terrible. Definitely not worth the effort to install it. By the way it is extremely difficult to get the original glass off.

No issues with installing

When the seller says removing the old glass is hard, believe them. Just pay someone to do it, trust me. But if you do get as far as getting the original glass off know that the adhesive on this one is not from the same planet as Apples adhesive. Save yourself some trouble and add your own glue before you place it on the phone or the edges will not stick down.

Replaced the back glass on my iPhone 13 and this fit just right. Easy to apply once all residue and broken glass has been cleaned off. It does break very easily once applied so get a good case that will absorb drops.

For the price, I was pretty happy with this item at first. It matched the blue on the phone just about perfectly. It comes with tons of repair tools and stuff to help for installing repair iPhones as a hobby for probably 5-6 years now.I just got an iPhone 14 from a freind he traded me. The back and front were TRASHED. Ordered this kit for the new back glass obviously. Was pretty happy overall. But ive just had the phone sitting haven’t FULLY repaired everything yet on it.Just yesterday I had to install a new magnetic wireless charger on this phone. Not a big deal right? Well. I didn’t think so. Installed it just fine. Very careful while doing g it.But here’s the issue… after installing the magnetic wireless charger onto the back of this new glass inside the phone itself, the blueish coloring of the back glass must be INCREIBLY THIN. because after installing my new wireless charger into the phone, just happens to look at the back glass must before putting it away, and the magnets thay are in a circle in the center of the back glass behind it….well…yea. The magnets BARELY touched the glass to mount to the back, and completely scraped off the bluefish coloring off the back glass. Can completely see exactly where I had installed the new wireless charger flex cable.Looks horrible now. So. Wanted to make this EXTREMELY honest and accurate review of this item fromSomeone who’s repaired probably 25-35 new backs on iPhones. And never had any do this.Granted. It LOOKS. ERY NICE if you don’t plan to install anything on the back glass. BUT! Problem is: these phones ALL HAVE THE SAME MAGNETIC WIRELESS CHARGING RING BEHIND THE REAR GLASS. SO IF UR PLANNING TO REPAIR THE GLASS WITH A KIT SUCH AS THIS, watch out! Cuz I BAAAAAARELY ever really touched the back glass except the bare minimum to do the install. And it completely scraped the coloring from the inside of the phone so when looking on the outside, u can see exactly where I installed the REPLACEMENT wireless charger. WHICH AGAIN IS A NECESSITY ON ANY IPHONE 11 and newer!So, not sure if this is just a fluke. Or what to think really. All I know is it’s an incredible amount of work to take the back glass off and install a new one. Even tho mine looks pretty crappy now , i don’t care to have to buy another and replace everything. Kinda figured this would be a lot better quality. Actually. I honestly didn’t even know these WERE EVEN CAPABLE of the color inside the back side of the glass being scraped off AT ALL, much less so easily! Hoping not all brands are like this. I’ve never once had any others that have gotten scraped up like this.I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this item do to my issue. If it wouldn’t have so easily been scraped and made to look so bad so easily, I woulda recommended it stull. It still feels pretty cheap though. Def nothing like ORM. BUT FOR THE PRICE….its ok if u don’t run into my same issue.Just wanted to make this review to hopefully save someone else my headacheWhen repairing and thay MUST put their magnetic wireless charger onto the back of this glass as well when installing. JUST WATCH OUT!
