I got this for my 17 year old who is obsessed with tea. The handle on the cup is very comfortable to hold and the tea strainer is nice and large. I like how the lid keeps it warm while steeping and then is perfect to hold the strainer. We are hand washing it because I want it to last, but it is a nice quality cup.

Great mug. Keeps tea warm. Be careful when washing the strainer. The small bottom has a tendency to fall out.

Insert is not dishwasher safe. I had used the cup several times and putting it in the dishwasher may not have been the smart thing to do, it seemed fine. However after a dozen washes the screen in the insert disappeared. No clue where it went but now the insert is useless. I will take the blame on this one because I didn't read any of the packaging. Just hope others will learn from my mistake.

I brew my tea in this cup and then set the infuser/basket on the lid. I really like the addition of the lid because it’s nice to have somewhere to set my tea leafs between infusions and when I brew my tea it keeps the heat in the mug
