I chose this from the countless options available because it had one of the largest working surfaces compared to most options available, and I almost exclusively make large-sized pizzas on the pellet grill for my family, so I needed the extra surface area. Both the wood and the aluminum have a nice finish, and it is sufficiently sturdy to support the weight of any pizza that would fit on it. The ability to fold it is also crucial to being able to store it effectively, since it would be quite long and unwieldy if it did not. My only criticism is the design of the handle- primarily the girth. I have fairly large hands, but even I find that the thickness of the handle and the squared-off edges make it somewhat uncomfortable to use. I have considered rounding off the edges with my router to both soften the contours and remove excess material in order to make it a bit more manageable to hold, but I have yet to do so. Overall, for the price, I don't feel like I have much room to complain. I would definitely buy again.

I have had this for over two years and what I like most about it is that it works well when using it with my pizza steel. I sometimes have pizza sticks but I don't think that's a construction issue, it's more of a user issue.I also was concerned about how flimsy it felt when I got it but for the occasional usage 4 or five times a year, it's held up well. The folding handle which was of concern when I got it, turned out to be a great feature and allows me to easily store it in my kitchen cabinets.

We use this pizza peel for removing pizza from our oven. It is a game changer and works amazing! Ours put together looked different (slightly) than the packaging but overall, quite happy with the purchase.

Love the wooden handle, only issue I had was tightening the handle to the metal. It feels like a weak point and I can see having to replace that after a couple uses.

this says 14x16, it is only 14x14, the 2 inches they added are where the handle meets the plate, which if you look has a massive knob to undo the screw for the folding handle, so 14x14 useable space, as the 2 inches they've included are practically part of the handle so it might as well say 14xhowever long the whole thing is. corner to corner on the metal plate it is 14x14.

I’m using this primarily for baking artisan bread on a pizza stone. Works great!i’ll be trying pizza with it too, but haven’t yet. Some have an issue with the handle knob being a bit awkward. I can see that, but it’s not a big deal to me. If necessary, a simple wing nut would work easier.Also, at leat one reviewer said there was a problem with the blue protect ive platics being impossible to get off. I’ve no idea why that was so for him, but i’ve included a photo of mine.... i got the blue sheet off both back and front in less than a minute - it took longer to get my phone & pix taken - plus there was a white warning tag atop it stating it must be removed. Zero issue with that.

I like this product because it is large enough to make a good sized pizza. The blade is thin so you can get underneath the pizza goin into and out of the oven. The handle folds nicely for storage. You can also hang it by the handle teather as well.
