1997 TJ. The product is great. Fit and finish are perfect. Took literally 10 minutes to install each. Getting the old ones off is the issue. That took better part of 5 hours. Some of the bolts are easy to reach and can be removed with a ratcheting box wrench (8mm). A regular combination wrench will work you to death. (Buy a quality wrench, my ratchet broke 1/2 way through). The plastic nuts on the inside are hard to hold, too. I tried gloves but my big hand would not fit behind the fenders. The tough part is some of the original bolts are installed with threaded inserts into the body panels. If they are stuck your wrench will cause the insert to turn in the hole. When that happens they must be cut off from the outside, then the old threaded insert removed and replaced. An angle grinder and a steady hand can cut the bolt head off (the heat generated melted the old flares). Then you can carefully shave the top of the insert until a punch can tap it through. You slip and that grinder is digging into your paint, so be sure of your skills first. After that you need a rivnut tool to replace the inserts. I bought one last year and now wonder how I lived without it. I used 5mm rivnuts and 5mm x 20mm stainless bolts with washers. Worked great and fits the same 8mm wrench.Final product looks great.

Great Product. Good Quality and Hole location was right on. I really can't tell the difference between this set and OEM. That being said... These are a Pain to install. Not the products fault. Just the nature of the beast. The worst part is getting the old ones off. The attachment hardware is kind of hard to reach in some areas. Do yourself a favor and buy a Ratchet Wrench that fits. I just used a boxed end wrench. It was doable, but a pain. Be prepared to spend some time. And try not to strip anything out or you'll be drilling screws out. I wanted to replace all the mounting hardware so I bought the Hardware kit. However you could get everything you need at your local Hardware Store. So after 6 Hours of cursing and tossing tools... Is it worth it? Yes!!! These fit perfect and look great!!! I bought the jeep with faded White chaff on the old Fender trims. So knowing they will fade out in the sun over time... I'm using 303 Aerospace Protectant right out of the box and keeping my fingers crossed. So if you don't mind a little work and want to replace your fender Trim... Don't hesitate about buying this product.Almost a year later and zero fading. Still nice and Black. Again, I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on these parts every time I wash the jeep. Now Almost two years and no fading. Black as New... Again, I always use 303 Aerospace Protectant on the trims when I wash my jeep. Very happy...

I ordered the 6pc set for my 2004 jeep tj they sent the wrong right rear flare. Of the pieces that they did send they fit great, I'm really happy with them, but I need the right rear flare to be replaced. I'm giving a two star review until I hear back from customer service about a possible replacement....*edit* Their customer service has been excellent and addressed the issue promptly. I changed my review to 5 stars.

The product didn't fit perfectly so you have to do some bending to install. But overall good product and still looks good. Also came with all hardware that was needed.

So, I bought black replacements since I was going to a black soft top. This kit does not include instructions or hardware. On that note, instructions can be found on line (Just find the product elsewhere on another sight until you see one that includes online instructions). The hardware, depending on our jeep, can be reused. The fronts and extensions were easy. The rear, well a little tougher. I didn't drop the whole wheel well cover but popped the two rubber inserts along the flare bolts to give me room to get to the nuts. They are both along the wheel flare and have holes for it in the flare. So, you can't miss it. Just pop those out and move the cover back with a flat tip. Use a wedge to give yourself space or you'll fight it on your fingers and it's a bit annoying. Some of the bolts (which are 5/16 heads get a ratcheting wrench or elbow and you can hold the plastic nuts by hand for the most part) have plastic nuts and some (the ones toward the ends of the flare) screw into threaded inserts, you should know that if they spin and don't back out they have the plastic nuts. If you reuse them, try thread it on the screws of the rear flares, the best you can. Otherwise you're making new threads in the plastic inserts and you'll have to jam something int there to hold the plastic nut to finish the threading. I'd like to think I'm mechanically inclined and it took me about two hours to complete. It wasn't easy and it wasn't too hard. In the end, they look GREAT and I'm glad I did it. Remember to twist and pull out your turn signal light of your front amber lenses (which you also have to reuse). It's worth the money in my opinion.

The instructions are not very detailed. You will need to remove the rear inner fenders in order to install these fenders and thus involves more time, a trim removal tools and preferably all new clips. The kit includes a few screws and clips, but not enough to replace all of them. Also be prepared to fix paint damage if you care about your Jeep and want to keep it a long time. The parts are great, but this will take a long time to be done right, and I would not trust just any shop to do it well.

Had to flex them a bit to get them to fit just right but they look stock and are decent quality. Can’t beat the price. If you are putting them on a tj you will need some rivnuts as well to secure them. I didn’t know this at the time and had to order them seperately along with a rivnut tool.

$800 cheaper than Mopar. Fitment on Amazon is wrong, it does fit my 2002 Jeep Wrangler.
