These were a gift for a 6 year old and I had the chance to try them out with her. They have good pigmentation for the price point. No broken leads and they sharpen well. And the triangular shape was easy for her to work with. Her only complaint was she wished there was an orange color.Ooly pencils really are worth the extra couple dollars, I’ve used their pastel pencils and been similarly happy. As I joked with her dad, she’ll lose these before they are worn out.

These pencils work great but the sharp interior corner of the “2†on the front side of the package went right under my fingernail and has caused significant pain. I’d recommend another design.

I'm an artist and use many different mediums for my artwork. I have a large set of colored pencils but needed some with a metallic look to them. I found this set to be reasonably priced, not an over abundance of pencils (I only needed a few) and had the metallic colors I needed with a few extra pretty colors in the set. The pencils lay down a nice, smooth coverage. You can easily build the colors to be more intense. They have a nice metallic sheen to them but not a "in your face" shine. They easily blend (I use a blending pencil) and compliment each other. They stay pretty sharp when I use them, so they aren't supper soft, but soft enough. They fit my purpose.

The colors of the pencils inside don’t match the colors written on the box. There’s no yellow or brown in the box, and the other colors are off, too. So much for my daughter’s Christmas gift. I’ve usually enjoyed Ooly products. Maybe something changed.

I wouldn't say they erase as completely as a regular lead pencil, but definitely better than your average colored pencil.

These pencils are outstanding and easy to grip for the seniors that I have using them. The colors glisten and add so much to the pages that we color. Thanks so much for making them.

Purchased this as a gift for a young artist, as a companion item for an art sketch book. Main feature of interest is the attached eraser, to correct mistakes in the art work. Positive response indicates success of the purchase.

As far as I can tell, the only difference between these and any other colored pencils is they have erasers on the end. But they do not erase any more cleanly than my other colored pencils. The color gets lighter when you try to erase, but it does not erase completely at all. It's not worth the effort to return them, but I would call this false advertising.
