I bought these shackles to use on the front of my '18 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel with a Fabfours winchRanch bumper, no longer can use the OEM hooks. These Off Road Shackles are rated at 4.75 Ton or (10450lbs) should work if I'm stuck or someone else needs help as long they're not too heavy or in too deep. I did help someone driving 3/4 ton truck with Cummins diesel who ended up off the road after hitting black ice. I admit I was very nervous pulling out his heavy truck, not sure if the shackle was going to break or not. I always use kinetic energy with my offroad rope, so much easier all the way around. The red shackles look good in Red & would love to leave them mounted all the time. But some scumbag would come along & steal it.For the money I'm wondering if they are going to hold up to long term ordinary pulling/tugging, having my doubts. You usually have to spend more money for top of the line shackles. So far so good. I'm being generous with Durability rating at 4 stars since I haven't had a chance to really working them. Same goes for Value for money, if they do hold up to abuse they're worth the price. I'll update if anything changes.
