Warm season watermelons do best in full sun, in a temperature range of 70-95° F. Hot summer conditions will sweeten the melons; but plants will need to be watered regularly until they go to fruit. Handle plants with care, as their vines are tender. Harvest ripe watermelons, after 80-90 days, by cutting the stem near the base of the fruit with gardening shears.

I am happy Amazon didn't ask these seeds to write a review about me! It is certain the seeds would give me one star. They did their job - they germinated and grew and produced watermelons - but I failed them in watering too much here, not enough there, and then harvested the melons too early or too late. The seeds did their job and deserve a good review. Me, not so much.

These seeds arrived yesterday and are planted. As of today. The planting area had been pre-prepared. I can always grow watermelons. What I cannot do in the past is get them to full maturity and enjoyable to eat. In fact, prior seeds from other sellers have not been worth A hoot. My reading on this variety of melon makes me think maybe I have a chance this time. If I do, I will modify this and advise. If you are going to plant them any place south of Kentucky I would recommend you get them in the ground ASAP. So far I like them.

Don’t waste your money, they don’t grow, plus you don’t even get the true amount of seeds. I am terminal with cancer and It was my dream to always grow watermelon and pumpkins so I thought I would try because being that’s all I’m eating right now I’m so sad!!! What a waste of money. How sad!!!

The watermelon is really organic. Very very sweet and juicy. One bag of seeds can harvest a lot of watermelons. The seller is worthy to trust!!! I will buy every year.
