Power liftgate struts gave out on a 2013 Yukon — liftgate would open about a quarter of the way and then close — and these replacements were easy to install and they work like a champ. Just a couple of clips to remove to get the original struts off, pop these on, clip in place, done.

I have to admit that I was slightly intimidated because I thought I would have to swap out the balls on the lift gate, but it worked perfectly! My son and I were able to swap out both lifters in under 10 minutes. I had priced these at both AutoZone and the Chevy dealership and thought I would try these because of the price difference. The only disadvantage is that they are very stiff.

Perfect fit for my 2011 Yukon Denali. Easy to install as well.

These are slightly too long for the closed length. Installed fine but when I went to close them they had slightly too much resistance. I pushed and it shattered the glass. Not happy.

The hatch on my 2012 suburban would not stay open. Watched a YouTube video on how to replace the struts. With someone to help hold the hatch open and another to uninstall/install the struts, the whole process was quick, easy and really affordable! The new struts immediately did the trick and have held up so far (a month at this point).
