Had the tub for about a month and really enjoy it, but had a few unexpected things happen. First, it was shipped with the wrong filter. After reading amazon reviews I was able to find the correct filter and ordered it which wasnt a huge issue. Also, the cup holders cannot possibly hold beverages. They are at about a 7% slope all around. My tub is sitting on a flat surface, nothing is bent or anything weird, and if you put a glass on any of the cup holders it would fall into the center of the tub. I ended up creating a 3d print holder which fits inside the crooked ones to fix the slope, but seems like an easy thing to get right from a manufacturing perspective...Also seems to cool down fairly fast, with long reheat times on 120V. Not really a problem if everyone uses it at the same time, but if I use the tub and someone wants to use it immediately after me it will be more like a warm bath than anything.

Disclaimer: I did not end up purchasing this hot tub on Amazon but on another website. The main reason for this is because it was not readily available on Amazon at the time of purchase. I had an order for it on Amazon for 3 months and then it was randomly cancelled due to "stock issues" (according to Amazon) so I purchased it somewhere else. However, I am a huge Amazon customer and review everything here. I have had such a horrible experience with this product, and it is such an expensive product, that I felt inclined to post my experience here.NEVER AGAIN will I purchase an "Essential Hot Tubs", "Strong Spas" or "Balance" hot tub. I believe all of these companies are the same. The experience has been nothing short of horrid.First problem: I ordered the hot tub on June 24, 2020 and it did not arrive until October 21, 2020. That was frustrating but if it only took 3 months to arrive and was ready to go, that would've been a minor frustration compared to everything else. Again, I did not purchase on Amazon so I don't know if this situation would be different or if it was the supplier/manufacturer that was the problem.Second (and major) problem: The hot tub started leaking immediately after following the instructions for setting it up.Third problem: The interactions with Strong Spas support to resolve this issue have taken well over three months to resolve and are STILL not resolved as of this writing (01/19/21). Their support is nothing short of horrific, unresponsive and unreachable. If you have an issue with your hot tub it will NOT be easy to resolve. I submitted a ticket for the leak the day after my hot tub arrived, and it took a technician two months to come out to look at it (they contract this work out it seems). During that time frame, I received zero information from Strong Spas indicating why it was taking so long and their phone lines were shut down "due to COVID" so I had to email them. Finally the technician came out and told me that the leak was not easily reachable and the spa likely needed to be fully replaced since I did not have space or means to lift it to fix the leak (and this also meant draining the entire hot tub). The technician submitted this report to Strong Spas. Three or so weeks later, I still had not heard from them and neither had the technician. I had to contact them again. After not receiving any email back than that they were "looking for the report" I emailed them again and asked for an update. They said they had received the report but requested another technician to come out for a second opinion. THESE ARE INSANE SUPPORT PRACTICES. Who sends their own chosen tech out and then sends another for a "second opinion?" After letting a customer have a brand new leaky tub for THREE MONTHS???? I haven't received an apology. Apparently this is normal for them.The hot tub itself is ok, but if you need to claim something on your warranty - GOOD LUCK!Edit: as of 02/23/2021 (4 months after hot tub delivery) and two technicians sent by the company to look at our leak, we still have not received a resolution to our warranty claim.

The only thing I can say is it is well worth the price, I'm just not too impressed with the control panel operation I've never had a hot tub and ihave to get accustomed to it . check back in a few weeks and maybe I can be more helpful Tom

We had it upgraded from 120 to 240 because not just electricity efficiency but if you leave it as it comes, you cannot run the Jets on high with the heater on at the same time. It works out perfect for my husband and I it does not seat five adults comfortably it seats two adults comfortably and maybe a couple of kids but it’s pretty much a couple spa in my opinion.
