Surprisingly very sturdy. Assembly was pretty simple, but I do recommend 2 people because it's bulky. Folds up pretty nicely for storage even though it's pretty large.

I tried in vain to resolve this problem, but was denied.First, the item arrived in a box that looked as if a hungry crocodile had taken a bite out of it. I knew almost immediately that any loose parts would have fallen out. I was correct. My "rain barrel" arrived with no spigots or washers or anything else except the plastic stays. This rendered it 100% useless. I immediately contacted Amazon. The vendor then asked me not to ship it back, that they would send the needed parts. I waited... nothing arrived. So, I contacted Amazon for replacement. Nothing happened. The rain barrel, which is essentially an upright kiddie vinyl kiddie pool, is laying on the ground useless. I have another collapsible rain barrel, which also has issues. Mu lesson is: If you want a good water storage container, buy a USA made, food grade water container. They are sturdier, they don't smell like a pool toy left out in the hot sun and made with God-knows-what toxic chemicals. Yes, they cost more, but they are worth it. And they don't LEAK. These collapsible pieces of garbage, on the other hand, are everything you do not want in a rain barrel: They smell bad, they're made of chemicals that leach into the water and affect the potability, they aren't very sturdy, and not food grade. A great idea, poorly executed. I will be reviewing this monstrosity on my Brownthumbprepper YT channel soon. Stay tuned!

Works as described. Also can attach regular hose to it. Stable even when put on a platform. Testing how it leans when full is important. Will update if a problem occurs but so far. Awesome!

You get what you pay for. Water seeps out of bottom but works enough for the price

If it's not holding water it collapses and blows away in the wind. No way to anchor it in place except to put a large stone at the bottom, and even then it still collapses inward.I bought two hardshell barrels after this experience.UPDATE: After it filled with rain, no problem with collapse. But I still keep it filled to 1/3.Bought two more, as I like the zippered tops which allow me to quickly scoop water into a 5 gal bucket with a 1/2 gallon pitcher and they store extra water very well.

I had no problem putting this together. I have no outdoor water faucet and this will come in handy for my garden and chickens. I'm in West Virginia, so I can usually plan on plenty of rain.

The flimsy tube supports are not strong enough to hold the barrel upright when it gets nearly full. The tubes bent and the barrel collapsed dumping all the water. When I have time, I will try to use it again, but will use rebar driven into the ground for the tubes to slide over. Getting rebar driven into the ground and getting the barrel to slide over the supports may be impossible, but I'll give it a try...It's a good idea, but badly implemented supports.

Easy assembly and as we live in a rural farming area where we have dry spells, I can't tell you how handy this has been! Great price for this too and I comparison shopped!
