Got these for the wife's garden, she loves it. Standard shovel handle will fit in the big hoe without modification (just add a screw to lock it in place). Wife has commented that the hand hoe it super versatile for her weekly weeding.

Sometimes the simplest design is the most efficient. Both of these items are well made and I love them. The more rustic or traditional of the two is my favorite. I really like that it can be used as a hand tool but will also slip on to a wooden handle (long or short). First time I used these on the front garden bed I could not believe how swift, efficient and easy it was. With a bit of practice, I was able to get just under the soil and cut off the weeds at their roots. Use with care, they are sharp. Would definitely recommend.

I ordered these because I wanted to try both of the tools. They work really good and because I use my Rolling cart it works for me. My only problem is , is that I'm 68 years old and I have put a dent in the blade of the hoe. I know I have some small rocks but I can't imagine I hit it so hard to to dents I the blade. I didn't pay alot so I'm sure if I pay more for the same thing they will be better. But they do what I want it to do.

These tools were really wrapped well. Took me a bit to get them out if the wrapping. I just used both pieces today getting my front sidewalk bed ready for spring. Used tools to chop out any weeds I can across, fluffed up the top if the soil and dug a small trench between the bed and the sidewalk to improve the drainage of the water on my sidewalk during heavy rains. Very please with the tools. Sturdy and well made with enough sharpness to get the job done.

I use these for light weeding in the spring. Lightweight and sharp. The shapes allow for precision weeding close to plants. I bought another set that was massively heavy duty and returned that set. These tools are the real deal. Highly recomment.

Tools are not that sharp or easy to use.Not sure what I expected. I guess the description the vendor gave was accurate. It was OKNot much wow!

Bought this for my mom, who is an avid Gardner. She really likes it and it sharp enough for the use of tilling dirt for small plants. It is good size and seems to be sturdy enough for an avid Gardner.

I ordered this set 1 1/2 year ago. I immediately used the Japanese sickle and love it. The gloves are ok. But when I went to use the hollow hoe for the 1st time yesterday, i found that the weld attaching the blade to the collar had cut through the metal of the blade leaving it with a crack. The crack caused the blade to weaken, bend and snap off on the first use. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this one piece of the set.

Blade snapped when it hit the first dandelion. Welded it back together, only to snap again. Very thin blade. The offset blade of the sickle tool makes it unwieldy. Buy a Korean homi instead.
