Great VCR. Brand new but made in 2008. Very nice high resolution even on a 66" screen. (Your tape needs to be good. This has indexing, decent instructions BUT small print. Did I say small. I need to enlarge them in my copier. A good magnifier would work. I had all the right connectors (it’s 2008). But if you don’t Amazon has them cheap. It worked the first time, This is great, we have a large library and have viewed several … happily. We got this 4 months ago. It has been flawless. There is also number to call for help.

Beware of products from this company. Returned the first unit, which did not function. The second unit arrived and would not turn on, A VCR tape was noted to be lodged in the machine. It is obvious that they knew the VCR did not work but shipped it anyway! Bad business practices! Buyers beware!!

I have a very large number of VHS tapes taken with an early over the shoulder type camera that we haven't seen in years. I have digitalized all of my old 8mm film recently as well as scanned all of our 35mm photos, but didn't have a VHS vcr. This one, while obviously used, works very well, especially since they haven't manufactured new consumer vcr's in years.

This one works so great, amazing quality on my tv or it's my tapes who knows. I bought from another seller crimson? I think and the tape got stucked it was no good I took it to an electronics repair store, they said it's defective then at first they only gave me back 50% refund. I saw this seller had great reviews and many of the reviews all sellers I researched better I took hours to search and see they have the same problem these vcr don't work by 3rd party's and then they either don't return your money or you get half! I went off on them and got all my money back, I refuse to feel scammed. This seller I took one star off because they sent the remote separate, I don't know if because they forgot but I have not tried using it yet. Ill be back to update if it does not work, other wise this one is safe!

Hard to find a working VCR. Wanted to have some old memories digitized but wanted to review them first. The VCR worked perfectly and had the remote. Even sent batteries and a couple of VCR movies. Very pleased.
