My old rear light was falling apart, leaking, Replacement bulbs weren't working cause it was leaking and falling apart.. This is a perfect one piece replacement, and the LEDs are way more efficient than the replacement bulbs I was going through.Love the dual rear cab lights with the single brake light. Better than the stock 2 brake lights and single cargo light.. I needed more light in my cargo bed at night, and this works greats. Very happy with this replacement over OEM.

I just installed this unit on my truck so I really can’t say too much except it seems to be very bright as I was hoping for!! Fit seems to be adequate, Value for the money seems to be fair, and finally the installation was not bad and it can be installed without pulling down the headliner by splicing the wires together just for FYI.

I did not go through the trouble of taking down the headliner to find the connector. I just chopped off the old light and the connector from the new LED light. Then added added male and female spade connectors to each of three wires, both on the light fixture side and on the truck side. Then taped the spade connectors so that they don't ground out. You can buy spade connectors with a non-conductive covering as well and not have to use electrical tape. The gasket that was included was nice. Make sure that you save your screws from the old light fixture as they don't send new screws. Brightness is very nice. Much better than the old one and it looks just fine. Would buy it again.

Just installed it on my '99 F150 with no problems. Haven't seen it at night yet, so I can't comment on the brightness, but the LEDs were very obviously ON when the door was open, so I expect that it will be at least as good as the old one that had two bulbs burnt out!A couple of suggestions for when you install it:1. Attach the gasket BEFORE connecting the wires. Don't take off the backing. Dry-fit it to the inside of the fixture, then peel one end of the backing and SLOWLY remove it, positioning the adhesive foam as you go.2. Several people have mentioned that the connector is inside, behind the headliner. I have included a picture to show where it was on my '99, from an earlier time when I had to remove the headliner. Having that picture allowed me to pull down the back edge of the headliner and reach up behind it, pull the plug, and connect the new wire and plug without removing the headliner. It's not easy, but beats taking out the headliner. (Which is a real PITA.)3. Included in the package is a very small zipper bag containing two small rubber circles (washers). These are seals for the screw heads. Before you insert the screws to the fixture, knock out the center of the rubber dot and slide the rubber washer over the screw up to the head, then insert the screws and snug it up to the body.4. The rubber grommet is not as thick as the original, and it appears to have an extra hole or two for wires. I would recommend a bit of RTV Silicone to seal the hole. And maybe some around the edges of the grommet.

My original 3rd brake light wiring deteriorated so bad it started smoking and blew the fuse. This replaced it and is even better than before. I like that the bed lights get 2 rows of LEDs on this model vs 1 on others I saw. The brake light is still just 1 row, but it's plenty bright. Plug and play, just pull the 2 plugs that hold up the headliner in the back and you can access the plug. It's a little tight in there but I got it after a couple attempts.

Partsam High Mount Led 3rd Brake Light Bar Replacement for F150 97-04Truck's been outside the entire time. Lights (white-bed & red-brake) are still very bright. They're brighter than OEM. Unit remains sealed.This has been a good purchase. I'd tell you that I'd buy it again, but I doubt I'll have to!I recommend it.

I think this is an absolutely amazing replacement high Mount stop light for the 1997-2003 f150! It's super bright and really simply to install, I simply cut the wires and soldered everything together and it was a lot easier than dropping my headliner. This was the last light I needed to complete the full led conversion on my truck! I highly recommend this light as a stock replacement or as a modification!!
