Easy to Install:
1. Take the screws out and gently remove the old light. Clean the gasket area. (Alcohol could help clean the area better.)
2. Plug in and make sure to tuck the whole hardware in.
(There are three connectors on the back of this light. Please kindly twist 3 sockets out and in.)
3. Screw it back in the place. Please don't tighten it down all the way yet in the beginning, or the case would be cracked. Put the two screws in and then tighten it down.
Note: A flathead screwdriver will be needed for the installation.

I could order a replacement from a national auto parts store for $80 or more that used bulbs, or get the LED version that lasts longer, it was a no brainer. Easy to install, looks and works great

Absolutely love it lol. Looks great at night. Literal only issue I found is that it does not come with a new gasket. Quick trip to the parts store will solve that, but I ended up using rtv to ensure no water leakage. Other than that, couldn't be easier to install.

First one - brake light only works if you wiggle the wires - no good.Replacement one - same issue! AND, a large cosmetic blemish (looks like a mold parting line) on top - VERY visible. Poor quality.

You have to use a 9/32 socket to remove the light assembly from the inside. I had to shave off some plastic on the tabs on the inside of the light to make it fit. I put lots of sealent around the opening then put the light in. After tightening the screws i wiped off the extra sealant that was pressed out. This guarantees a water proof instalation. This fits my 2001 chevy s10. Only criticism I have is that the leds should have been made more at a angle facing the rear of the vehicle. They may look ok at night.
