I bought this because I didn't want to spend the money for a kitchen aid attachment. Works for me. However I'm still trying to convince myself I don't need the attachment.

It's very sharp and needs to be contained in some sort of bag to keep blades sharp no touching other utensils. And protect yourself/ lovely on pie crust also.
