I was looking for an exhause kit for my generator so that we could enclose it and protect it from the weather. This showed up in my search and the dimensions seemed right so I decided to try it. The amount of hardware included is pretty impressive. Everything needed to mount this to the exhaust as well as mount to our generator enclosure was included. There was a nice instruction pamphlet (though my husband did not use it lol). The 'tube' is very flexible, but strong enough to stay put without sagging. The only thing I will be adding is a tighter mesh screen to keep smaller bugs out, but the screen that come with it is very stout so I really like it - I'll just be gluing mine to the top of it so I'm thankful the sturdiness is there to start out with.Here’s my rating scale for products:1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws. I would never under any circumstances use again.2 Stars: Do not buy. Its usable at best, but you could easily find something better.3 Stars: Just ok. Buy if you can't find an alternative. Some issues need to be addressed.4 Stars: Recommend purchase. This is a perfect vent kit. I used this to add ventilation to my sauna. Was easy to install and works great. Great quality and bang for a buck.

This will be attached to a 3D printer enclosure I am building to direct the fumes into a filter. The sheet metal work is uniform, well stamped, and they even enclose a kevlar cut resistant glove, a nice touch to guard against cuts. It is stamped sheet metal and therefore the edges are sharp. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I needed to plumb the intake air for my pellet stove. I like the design and the parts have a nice brushed finish to them. The clamps seem to be solid and hold well. The outside shroud will require a plate or a fixture under it if mounted to vinyl siding, but that's to be expected.
