First time we received this part it came already broken so we waited an extra week for the replacement part, got it in our pellet stove and fired it up, it seemed to work great, ran nice and quiet...fast forward 2 weeks later and its already making an awful rattling sound. Not sure if its really worth it to try ordering a 3rd. Very unimpressed... seeing as it's a cheaper part I definitely wasn't expecting it to last forever but I was hopeful it would at least make it through one season... or at the very least most of the season.

Ordered this part to replace the convection motor in our Pleasant Hearth PH50CABPS pellet stove.It worked as soon as we fired it up after installation. However, when turning up the heat to high on the pellet stove, this motor doesn't go to high right away like the original motor that came with the stove. It will surge, and it's audible. It takes approximately five minutes of surging (low/high/low/high) before it will stay on high. This means the top of the stove gets quite hot, while the fan is "catching up". Definitely not normal. And not safe in my opinion either. The fan was installed yesterday, and if the operation of this convection motor doesn't smooth out very soon, I will be ordering a brand name replacement from the stove manufacturer instead......
