Don't settle for other brands. These are strong and don't easily snap like some other refills we've purchased. They glide easily over various paper (graph, printer, post it notes, index card) & erase pretty clean.

I've been using Pentel leads in my artwork for over 30 years, it's good quality, reasonably priced and widely available. Every now and then you'll get a lead that is a bit scratchy, but they're few and far between.My only complaint with Pentel leads is the packaging. They've always seemed to have felt the need to put a handful of lead in a giant plastic dispenser and they're still doing it. Without fail I can always manage to put all the lead from 3 dispenser into a single dispenser and have a bit of room left over. It's a massive amount of waste just to make it look like there's more product.
