I guess you could say I down-sized. The taller (old one) finally after years of daily use gave out. I like the new smaller size, easy to use and gives a good adjustable grind. As you can see I enjoy a little pepper on my breakfast, shown is a course grind.

I use this grinder for sea salt, and I love it! Previously, I had an all metal, sleek, modern looking manual grinder. Within six months it started to rust and wouldn't grinder properly anymore. I had to throw it away. This one is far more retro looking, but works so well! On day one, it ground the salt better than the other one did. I will update if this one begins to fail quickly.

Wasn't sure what I'd get for the price. but I'm extremely satisfied. The wooden mill looks and works beyond my expectations.

Good product, and it does what I wanted to. It grinds pepper. I have never had one before, and I wish it had instructions with it. Apparently you can adjust how course the pepper is. But I don’t know how the met at the top adjusts to allow that. I wish it had had some instructions in it

I wanted to get this to use as a salt mill as we already have a pepper mill. The salt shaker we were using was just the ones that we got from costco with the mill bottle. This looks nice and works to grind the larger salt crystals. I see others have had some issues with build quality and longevity. Mine came in working order. I rinsed it out with some dish soap and let it dry out then inserted the salt. Works fine.

Simple use in kitchen. Used to season, then blades for cutting into peppercorns broke off, unnoticed and lost. Now, useless.

I use this as a pepper grinder and it is great. Both in quality and efficiency.Quality - The wooden parts fit together well and feel sturdy. Indeed, as someone who used to work in a restaurant, this grinder is as good as the ones we used to use during table-side cooking.Efficiency - The grinder allows you to choose how coarse you want your pepper (or salt) grinded. The gears are sturdy and this grinder is made to last for a long time as long as you take care of it.Highly recommended!

The finish of the wood is good but actual mill function is not great as materials used are not of good finish to give grindability. Average product.

Pepper mill works really well ....if u fully tight the nut ...fine pepper powder is not coming out......if u loose the nut n crush.. it works really well....
