Main complaint: The neck seam seems to bear all of the weight on the upper back instead of distributing it to the shoulders. Haven't noticed any problems but would not risk hiking with a lot of weight in the vest because it might injury the neck. For short distance and travel this is no problem, however. The pockets seem unusual sizes still. I was able to pack everything I wanted however the chest pockets are still too small so my things had to be relocated to different pockets than I would prefer. The pen holder thing is waaay too loose for any pen without a very strong clip and the tiny pocket next to them is just too small for anything except a lighter and some almonds. There are no pockets for your hands to rest in which is a huge bummer and I would have gladly traded some of the other pockets for. The huge inside pockets are very mighty indeed. The vest is quite cool and I did not need to open the back even when in the sun.Summary: Weight on the back of the neck is a no go for long term use. Pockets are okay good for replacing a small bag. Worth the money at least. Useful for biking and travel. Seems well made.

This vest works well to carry essential items one needs when traveling by airplane. I used this to help me bring more items for my Spain & France trip July to August. It holds a lot of items in the various pockets plus it looks cute in red. I am female and wore this on the plane with my multi pocket hiking pants. I did carryon only and this came in handy so I could take more with me. It was also useful for hiking and touring around to carry my essentials.

I have a similar style vest that is too heavy for summer. I use the zippered pockets instead of a pouch or purse. This is perfect for summer. Light weight but sturdy

This vest is great. I am 5’ 8 1/2†tall. I weigh 165. The medium is loose enough to wear a sweatshirt under, but snug enough to wear with just a Tshirt. The fabric feels good, not great, but not cheap. I purchased for a safari costume. I took off a star due to inaccurate color description in seller’s photo. My complaint is that the “khaki†color I received is darker than the photo. I was expecting more of a cream/sand khaki color and it seems closer to a dark tan or beige. It will be ok for my costume, but wanted to post for others in case color matters.

Made a great addition to a halloween costume, has also been very handy with all the pockets. Can't say I've used it for fishing, but I could see it being pretty awesome.
