I have been wanting one of these for awhile after seeing them used on YouTube. Well made, love the extra reach and solid grip they give me for those stubborn hoses. Well made and solid. Great addition to tool chest.

Perfect tool to pull up staples after removing subfloor and sheet vinyl. However, in two rooms, the builder used tiny (barely 1/4" crown), long (1") staples that this guy's "needles" can't get under. I also bought a 45 degree plier and it gets under a few more, but for most of the staples I've had to use a little nut pick to raise them up first. Then these make short work of popping them out, even though they're deep. I tried a lot of tools, including several sizes of regular (straight) needlenose pliers, but only the nut pick gets most of them. Not the 5-in-1, not the grinder/ oscillating saw, not the floor scraper, etc etc-- none of them get under these tight, tiny, deep staples. (Note to floor installers: don't use those tiny-crowned staples, they're miserable to remove as the OSB just splinters and stays behind under them when you pull the underlayment out, so they're low and tight even after you remove the long splinters. And don't space them 1/2 inch apart all over the floor, that's excessive!) Anyway--once the staples are raised, these 90 degree pliers work best of everything else I've tried. The 45s are good, too, and with their skinnier "nose" they get under a few staples.) I may try grinding the tip finer so I don't have to keep using a hammer & nut pick. These 90s have a very thick tip for needlenose (thicker than the 45 degree one and thicker than both my straight ones), but I suppose that makes them stronger.

These were well worth the price. It's not a tool you'd use often , unless you constantly working on mowers, they'll do the job.

Needed to replace my pcv valve on my truck in a VERY hard to reach spot. The pcv valve was 7.99 and so was this so i figured it would make my life easier and surely it did! I not only used it to pull off and reinstall the hose clamps but the hose as well. And now my truck is fixed! I couldnt have done it without this tool. Now im happy to have this for use in the future. Very handy useful tool!!! I figured at that price if all it did was fix my truck its already worth every penny obviously. Seems to be built very well. Im in the hvac field 20 years but I do my own mechanical and plumbing and house work as well. This tool will grab onto hose clamps real well so u can pull it of with much more ease than regular pliers or channelocks. Especially hard to reach spots. And its angled just right. Would have made my life a lot easier if i had these years ago. And I dont doubt ill end up finding many more uses than i expected out of it too!

I bought two of these both 11 inches long: one 45 degree and one 90 degree. As you open them wide the action gets tighter and less mobile likely due to some imperfect machining or tolerances. And yes, when you close them the jaws do not fit perfectly flush together and maybe you could slide some very thin paper through one side of the jaws or where they bend but really if you are buying these to do some work at NASA, you should probably spent a few more dollars. For general purpose use they are more than adequate. I bought them for automotive work and all things considered they are a good value. Cheap enough that even if they happen to break, I won't be upset over it.

This says 90° but is more like a 60° bend. Lots or rough places abd the hammer marks where the bend is are very evident. Exspected it to have been forged at 90° not a staright pair heated up and bent with a hammer after original forging. Plus the machined grooves no longer completely meet after the bend was created. Will work for my needs, but had it not been a hassle to return it I would have returned them. Stellnworth the money Ivpaod forbthem, but then at that price I shouldbhave knkwn ot would be a cheaper Chinese made lower quality product. Theyvshouldbhave saidv60° not 90° on the description. Sonif a 60° bend works fir you and thebprice isbright, then this is a sturdy tool from what I tell not having tried to use it just yet. Grips are nickey cushioned and the reach is good. The swivel joint is giid needed to be forced a few times to get it to loosen up to be able to move the entire designed agrea of motion.

When a musky or pike swallows your lure, these are a good pair of pair of piers to reach for.

Adequate quality, but will serve for the occasional job where a long reach with 90 degree jaws are required. Would have got 5 stars if they had been properly deburred - some sharp edges on the closing faces of the jaws. No big issue, and easily sorted - but for the price, I should not have to do this

Bought it for accessing a very tight spot, however the ends were too big and could not use this pliers, need to find a thinner one.
