You can only get so much pressure before they start the bend. Mine do the job without breaking and they always returned back to the original configurations.

I got the 8" version and although it got the job done in forcing a sheet metal component to ride over the underlying aluminum frame to the point where the sheet metal's screw hole aligned with the thread in the frame, it struggled to remain stiff enough. So, in the last few turns of the screw, the jaw visibly widened, putting strain on the two corners of the "C" shape. I would prefer the designers to recognize that a deep clamp will need a LOT more beefing up at the corners if it is to hold the jaw separation constant while having the clamp tightened.

Searched long and hard for a deep throated clamp. Most are only 2 3/4 inches. This fit the bill. Solid build.

Extra djup så att man kan limma även långt. Djupet gör att den inte är så stum som man är van vid från vanliga tvingar.
