This is a fantastic tool for plastic pushpins. Made a job so much easier. Easy to use. Less frequency of broken parts. I definitely recommend.

Ordered these to pull a few fasteners from my RAV4. I tried to get it done with a screwdriver but was having a tough time and wanted a better tool. These got the job done in no time.I noticed some reviewers having an issue with the bite of the pliers, particularly the alignment. It's true that they don't align perfectly but thankfully mine were good enough that it didn't effect the usefulness of them for me. Still, I can see how it might if it were any worse. If you've got a Harbor Freight near you I'd recommend picking some of these up there as you can save a little, and it's pretty much the same Chinese product wherever you look.

I got this to perform a transmission drain and fill service on my 2009 Honda Accord. If someone has already performed this task, they will know that the most difficult part of the job is removing the splash guard held together by push-pins and then putting them back - there are a bunch of them around the perimeter of the guard (10-12 at least). Using this tool, I got all of them intact and put them back too.If you are doing it for the first time, you might struggle - I struggled more putting the first push-pin back than pulling them out. But, once I got the hang of it, the others were easy. You need to be patient since you are working in a cramped space underneath the car. Many people got frustrated trying to remove the splash guard and decided to use a knife to cut open the guard, which will later cause more problems in the future - I am glad I got this tool and did some reading before I attempted the job. Getting the job done like a professional makes me feel proud and also the fact that I know it has been done right gives me a sense of satisfaction.if you care about keeping your cars original, then this tool is worth the investment and I know I will be using this in the future on my other cars as well.

I originally bought lisle 42810 to remove the plastic push pins that secure all the covers under my 2021 toyota highlander. Well made product, but not the right tool for this job. Then went and bought these pt w86561 push pin pliers and they worked perfectly.NOTE: do not try to grab and pull the center pin with these pliers. Instead, push down and squeeze after you align on the edges of the center pin. The wedge style of the tips will create a force to push the middle up without actually pulling. Wish that was explained better on the packaging. Took me a few tries to get the form right, but now i can do it every time with no damage to the pin after i align and squeeze correctly.

They work great to remove Ford plastic retainers in the engine compartment of my 97 Ford F150. Sure beats using flat screwdrivers or putty knives.

Given that you can buy 3 pairs of Draper pliers for just over £10... Still, these will lower your blood pressure when you're under the car. Great tool. Not so great price.

I use these regularly to swap windscreens on my sled. The plastic rivets pop out easily with this tool.
