This pair of pliers seems to work fine. I don't do a lot of things where I need these, so they'll work fine for me. A quick ring here or there to fix some things. Overall I think these will work fine for what I need. Love that it included a case, and several rings to start with.

Our sofa needed the foam replaced because it had become so soft over the years. After removing the hog clips and replacing the foam, I used these to reattach the upholstery. They work really well and the assortment of hog clips that came with it gave me what I needed.

j'avais un siège chauffant dans mon auto qui ne fonctionnait pas, il fallait enlevé la couverture pour remplacer l'élément chauffant et remonter le tissus cette ensemble est assez complet et ça m'a permit d'économiser de le remplacer moi même que le concessionnaire, j'ai remonter mon siège, attaché le tissus avec ce kit et rien n'y parait

Edit: It seems that the unit I received is defective as the grooves in the jaws are not deep enough to properly hold the rings. Compare my picture to the ad, theirs is much deeper. The seller issued me a refund.It does not work well with the 3/8" hog rings which is the reason I bought it. Once it starts to close the ring shoots out of the pliers before closing fully which makes it useless for my purposes.This does not happen with the larger rings provided.
