The installation instructions appeared beyond the capabilities of our home mechanic skills. We believe it would be best to have a professional shop perform, since it appears to require removal of the distributor to shim the shaft and some electrical connections that aren't clear to our understanding. This applies only to this Pertronix Ignitor we tried to use with a 1956 Ford F250, and may not reflect on other Pertronix products or applications.
