This works so well after converting to 12v and installing this unit. I don't need to use the choke because the car starts so quickly. It's significantly less expensive than a new upgraded distributer and easier to install. It fits perfectly and it's quick to install. I've only had this installed for a few months so I cannot comment on durability.

have used this product before and is still working would like it to be safe to leave ignition system on for longer time for trouble shooting electral system

Pertronix Part may be good if new but AMAZON sent me a used non working part. Wires cut and dirty, screws held together by a piece of tape, box beat to hell, etc etc. Now I'm dead in the water another week!!!!!!!!Thanks AMAZON!

Switch to 12 V and this PerTronix makes instant starts However nowDec 2021 and something failed acts like crossover sparking with odd backfire wont run with any power and almost wont runat all ?
