Easy installation. Most other kits include a magnetic ring that goes on the shaft. This one does not. works from existing shaft. Thought maybe was missing a part and I was mistaken about installation. After installation check timing. Engine has never run an idle so smoothly. Faster acceleration, also installed new cap and rotor with there hotter coil.Fun project, easy install and would definitely recommend. Hopefully get long hours out of parts.

Fit my screw down cap Prestolite distributor on my 1991 OMC 350 (5.7L). Installed easy enough and fired right up. Timing was off about 15-20 degrees as noted on the instructions. Seems to have better spark but we shall see when I put it in theater

Nice update for boat with Ford 351 8 cylinder. Easily installed and started well. Did need to adjust timing.

Used this to replace points on a prestolite distributor on a 175hp 1977 OMC Ford 302 cu V8.Old boat hadn't run since 1996. Couldn't get spark with the old points.Started up first crank with this kit and their coil.
