I'll keep it, but now my rev counter is dead. The problem is well described on web sites, and not easy to fix. But it's still better than points!

This was a super easy install for my 71 240z. I wish there were more little screws because I dropped one initially and never found it, had to get a replacement! More annoying than anything!

installed on my 72 240z and after advancing the timing, gapping the plugs and re-tuning the carbs it seemed to have a little more power and smoothed out the idle. not bad after getting it tuned correctly

I was using this to convert a 83 280zx datsun to hall effects but the magnetic sleeve is not splined to fit the distributor, it just rotates freely.After a painfully drawn out talk with pertronix it turns out the part is not for all 6 cylinder datsuns,so if you feel lucky go for it.
