Easy to install, don’t have to remove distributor. You will have to reset your timing though.

Fast shipping and easy install UNFORTUNATELY I got a defective unit. Called Pertronix did all the tests they wanted to confirm bad unit and they said send it back for replacement. As long as return goes well will change this to 5 stars and purchase another unit for my 1963.5 Galaxie P code.

Unit did not work on initial install. Their tech support suggested modifying the mounting plate to get a closer gap. Did so with no help. Reinstalled points and engine started immediately.I would suggest skipping the Lobe Sense version. BTW I have over 20 years of engineering and 25 years owning and operating a classic car repair/ restoration business. Pertronix units are usually pretty good but this was a disappointing waste of time for more than 1 reason
