My cat doesn't bite me when I pull this out so that's a plus. I like how easy it is to get the fur out of the comb. My cat Zoey and I like it.

This is labeled as a flea comb, but obviously isn't because the tines are too far apart to catch a flea. I chose this hoping that it might even though the photo is pretty clear. But it works perfectly as a deshedding comb. It has tines of two lengths so that they don't catch badly on knots or mats on a long-haired cat. They enjoy being groomed with this comb as much as the short-hairs do.The tines are rounded and won't hurt them, plus the pushbutton on top makes it easy to clean in a jiffy. The light green makes it easy to find in my cat drawer. It's the right weight, feeling good in my hand. Finally, it's a good value for the money. If my cats get any fleas this season, I'll need a flea comb, but this is great for catching the winter fur that's starting to cover the furniture.

It's definitely not a flea comb, the tines are way too far apart. It's a comb with a pointless eject button. Waste of a purchase.

This comb looks nice but it doesn'really remove a lot of hair. I think that it is more useful to untangle knots on pets with long hair.

This flea comb is easy to use. It button to eject the hair is sturdy and I like the big handle. I should get a lot of good use from this cat comb.

This brush may work well with thick hair-ed cats/dogs. It doesn't remove much of anything from my cat's coat which is slick. The prongs do not go under the hair to lift what's loose. Not a good product for slick haired pets.

I have two 17-pound LONG haired cats, so I'm always on the lookout for de-shedding tools. Pros: the teeth are rounded and well-tolerated, the staggered length of the teeth probably makes it easier for the comb to pass through the hair, and (my favorite!) the depressable button to push the collected hair out of the comb is well designed to NOT catch the end of the teeth and cause them to bend (a problem with others). The cons: while this item is labeled as "flea comb" and probably works well as such, all the pictures show it being used for de-shedding. The problem is it just doesn't work that well. It just doesn't seem to gather that much fur as I KNOW my kitties have to shed. So one star docked -- maybe I brush my cats sufficiently and I've "caught up" with fur removal?
