This thing is awesome and my dog loves it too. I got the smaller size which is perfect for my Yorkie. He’s been loving it especially that it’s cold out now and I like to crack a window even In the winter. I usually have a heater on him and he sort of burrows a lot within a blanket nest so this is perfect as the bottom half would be cozy and warm. It was just a few days since I got it for but now he gets mad at me when it’s not on. That should speak for itself.The product is nice and soft, looks to be built well but only time will tell. It’s got an impressive cabling system for the wire and it looks safe. It does state in the instructions of things not to do in which it says don’t cover with another blanket and only use the dog bed. I will follow that rule.I can highly recommend it if your dog likes warm and especially for those who love the clothes or blankets right out of the dryer and want to snuggle.Controller is simple and there’s a timer which is awesome. It’s easy to clean as well. Really can’t say enough good about this. Highly recommend for your pupper.

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and they are ALL finicky about where they like to lay and sleep. I have noticed my older small dog looking for a place in the sun to lay, as most animals do, and thought I'd give this heat pad a try. I placed it in his normal spot and he took to it quickly, and then I discovered the cats wanted in on the action too! It was only a couple of days until I saw both cats and the small dog sharing this warm, cozy "bed".In a more untraditional use of the pad, I wanted to try to use it as an ambient temperature warmer for a fermenting bucket of homebrew, and wrapped it around my bucket to slowly raise the fermenting temperature. It worked perfectly. The beauty of this pad is that it doesn't necessarily heat to a certain temperature, but it seems to increase temps based on ambient conditions. On the 3rd setting, I was able to increase temps about 10 degrees above ambient, which was what I was after. There are obviously dedicated solutions for what I was doing, but the price points of those other options are typically 4-5 times more expensive than this was.So, a multi-use heating pad that my animals love and I can "share" with them when I need it. I recommend it.

Bought to put in an outdoor set up for stray cats. We live out in the country and someone dumped a pregnant mama cat. She had her kittens so this gave them a warm place to stay. We set up an insulated tote and wrapped a towel around this to put inside. It stays nice and warm and the cats seem to love it. They haven’t chewed it up, or scratched it up. I like the timer and the heat settings.

It’s nice and warm when it stays on. But it goes off and does not do the 24 hour setting like it says it does.

The neighbors 2 Cats oddly, kept showing up at my place, meowing and following me. After a short period of time, I noticed the neighbor's indoor cats (outside more than normal in the cold) Sadly looking skinny. They wouldn't come near. I bought cat food and after finding out where the neighbors moved. I tracked them down. I drove to their new place to happily tell the family, with 3 sons, I'd found their cats but they wouldnt get in my jeep. They could come get them. Turns out, the family decided they didn't want the cats and abandoned their 2 indoor cats outside to fend for themselves in my barn or any near by. It's freezing here! Shocked, and lost respect for their action, I went home immediately made them a little box, tarped it. I bought this Auto Heated Mat. Simple to daily reset the auto timer mat on 12 hours, wish the timer setting was longer. Set the heat setting to the highest and of course, feed them. They're still wary (probably because of my vocal Frenchies inside), but it's good to see them snuggled together on their warm mat. I'm so glad when I searched out a solution, to find this and one other auto heated mat safe for outdoors on Amazon. I may change my review as I form facts and differences from the 2 Mat's. Hopefully, people will commit to their pets and keep them warm when they spend time outside. Thank you Amazon and the creative Auto Set Warming Matt!

Love this heating pad! It’s large and comes with settings that allow you to choose the right heating temperature for your outside pet. I feed my outside feral boys on the top of it. Our temperatures are not very extreme in terms of the cold but it would be perfect for a cat house too. I washed the cover and it came out perfectly. Very easy to use.

I go this for my dog but she didn’t not like it. However my cat loved it. The large was a bit small for my dog but I also have a very large dog. It is soft and gets warm very fast.

Who were looking for something to keep our cats warm during these cold months especially the one that has trouble keeping her body temperature warm. The thickness and size of the mat is perfect for both of our cats to sleep comfortably. The thickness of the cord and the quality of the materials are great! I don't have to worry about the cats chewing it or poking holes in the cord. Just look how happy they are sleeping on it!
