I’ve had quite a few salt grinders over the years. This one looks very pretty but it doesn’t grind salt. Completely useless.

This mill grinds salt well, generates a good consistency. But the top knob tends to come unscrewed a bit everytime you use it, so you have to reseat it regularly. Somewhat annoying but not the end of the world.

The mill does just what it is designed to do: grind rock salt.I cannot think of anything bad to say about it.

This salt mill got excellent reviews, but I disliked mine so much I gave it away. I was thrilled with my Cole and Mason pepper mill and I expected the equivalent quality from Peugeot. However, for whatever reason, the grinding mechanism did not work for me. I prefer coarse salt and it would either spit out huge chunks or really tiny grains. I tried different settings, but they all led down the same road of disappointment. The knob at the top comes loose with every use, and while this wouldn't have bothered me if I was happy with the mill, it simply compounded my irritation. It's a cute little salt mill though. I love the size (perfect since I endeavor to limit my salt intake).

Peugeot makes the best mills-- I have found no other that grinds pepper (& salt) so fine.

Externally nice, grinds well. The internal finish is quite poor with visible wood splinters. Disappointed that the internal support is plastic rather than metal like the old grinders.

Zwei Sterne gibt es für die Form. Nur macht die Mühle nicht das was sie soll - mahlen. Da kam nichts raus, da kann man sich einen Wolf drehen.

見た目、質感は気に入ってますが、置いている時に塩、胡椒がかなり落ちる。構造上仕方ないが衛生的、値段を考えると好評にはならない。

Quelle déception!!! J’ai acheté il y a qqls mois celle pour le poivre qui fonctionne à merveille… donc je prends celle conçu pour le sel!À sa réception, elle ne fonctionne pas avec le sel que j’avais avec mon ancienne qui avait cassée.Donc je rachète un sel spécial moulin, qui ne fonctionne toujours pas. Le débit du sel est tellement faible que j’ai racheté la même que mon ancienne qui fonctionne très bien mais qui casse lorsqu’on est maladroit.PRODUITS A FUIRE!
