I have the Peugeot Paris u'Select Pepper Mill in wood and thought I would like the salt mill to replace the supermarket one-time use mills. While I think it worked fine initially, the u'Select mechanism soon became stuck and turns only between a course 4 setting and a very course 5 setting. I can turn it as far as a 3 or 2.5 with a lot of strength. But turning the grinder mechanism is very tough and squeaks loudly (even at a 4 or 5 courseness setting). I've just submitted a warranty claim and will update this review once I've heard back.

Die Pfeffer- und Salzmühlen von Peugeot sind von der aufwendigen Verarbeitung, der Haptik und der Funktion zur Einstellung des Mahlgrades ausgereift und von der Qualität mit den Mühlen anderer Hersteller nicht zu vergleichen (eigene Erfahrung auch mit anderen Mühlen). Wer also Spitzenqualität kaufen möchte, sollte diese Pfeffer - oder Salzmühlen kaufen. Ich habe drei Pfeffermühlen (für verschiedene Pfeffersorten) und eine Salzmühle im Einsatz und bin hochzufrieden mit den Mühlen.

The description states 22cm, it is 18cm. I thought they had sent the wrong one and ordered another, same again, 18cm! The product number matches but clearly states 18cm.It is a lovely colour, just disappointed at the size as not what is described. I have not used it yet.

Nach diversen Enttäuschungen mit dem Mahlgrad und der Funktionalität von elektrischen Mühlen bin ich auf diese Mühle aufmerksam geworden. Der Mahlgrad kann problemlos und leichtgängig unten per Drehung eingestellt werden. Die Mühle mahlt wie erhofft und gewünscht eine ausreichende Menge. Leider musste ich sie zweimal bestellen, da der Lack an einer Stelle abgeplatzt war (siehe Foto). Auch beim zweiten Versuch ist der Lack nicht 100%ig fehlerfrei. Ich habe mir bei dem Preis eine andere Qualität erhofft. Entweder hatte ich nur Pech oder der Lack ist bei dem Produkt eine generelle Schwachstelle - ich überlege noch ob ich sie zurück sende.
