I bought this for my rv outdoor shower. The vinyl ones either kink or are just not flexible enough to stuff in the shower box without worrying about it bursting the shower door open pressing on the door. Then I'd have the shower hose and head dangling as I drove until I noticed and could stop. This hose is perfect. It's very light weight and feels/acts like a "slinky". Fits in my shower box without worry of pushing the shower door out and losing the hose. This 39" is plenty long in my opinion but maybe someone else likes the longer one. I was concerned at first because it kept leaking from where I attached it to the showerhead. The washer was in but I just couldn't get it to stop leaking. I finally took a plyers and gently tightened it that way and no more leak. I guess it needed more than my arm strength could tighten it. Very pleased with my purchase. I hope it continues to be a good purchase. Time will tell I guess.

Our old shower house was less flexible and broke when we were washing the dog in the bathtub. This hose is significantly more flexible and still feels high quality. It is also a great length. It reaches more than the length of the tub. It was easy to install and matches our existing fixture.

The product was delivered as expected. The metal is clean and extremely flexible. Connection was easy and water throughput is solid. I would recommend if you are in the market for a long shower hose.

Almost perfect. It is doing exactly what I want it to do. I bumped it down to 4 stars due to the finish. It is stainless steel, but not well polished. It has a slightly rough feeling to it, not slick. Otherwise it’s great. It is not leaking. It is the length promised. Surprisingly, it came with screw-in thread protectors (plastic plugs). It also had an o-ring on the outer surface, mid way up the tapered shaft that fits into the nozzle holder. The placement suggests to sturdy the nozzle during use. I removed the o-ring, my nozzle holder is fairly snug already. Overall, I am happy with it.

I ordered 39" brushed nickel hose. Amazon Warehouse recommended it "used like new" for 2 dollars less. I bought and received the plastic shiny silver and black striped hose a day later. So disappointed. Reordered and got the correct hose. All is fine with it. See picture. This hose replaced a longer one that was always hitting the water control handle. This shorter one does not. The brushed nickel matches my nickel fixtures and no leaking on first use. It is not long enough for say, washing a dog in the tub but long enough to rinse me and the shower walls down, so perfect.Now I have to return the poor substitute hose. I used to order at the Warehouse often but more hesitant now. Fortunately returns are easy.

Always having a conventional shower without a shower hose like this one, when I installed my instant hot water heater, a rubber shower hose was provided and I quickly replaced it with a Phasat coiled stainless steel hose. This lightweight hose would outlast a rubber hose, but that doesn't mean it won't eventually wear out. In fact when reviewing the comments about the hose there were the regular warnings about the hose breaking soon after being installed. What they didn't mention was that anything that is mistreated is not going to last its full expected lifetime of service. It's not intended for playing jump rope in the shower. The stainless steel will break if kinked, twisted, or stretched, or in my case after four years of excellent service, pushed the shower head a little too forcefully back into its holder, snapping the coupling. But even so, the service life I received from it shattered all the previous warnings about how it would quickly break because the hose itself is still perfectly good. Unfortunately, replacing the connector might be more difficult than just keeping a new extra hose available. In the words of one great and respected personality of the past: "That's the way it is..."
